trail of the superball

i'd give anything to be in NYC tonight. One of my all-time-favourite bands, ...and you will know us by the trail of dead, will be playing a show in their original two-piece outfit tonight, so that's quite sensational. Seems like a good time for TOD fans is at hand, as they finally freed themselves from major label chains and plan to release their new album independently in September as a celebration of that fact. Can't wait. In the meantime, time to pick up those neglected post-"Source Tags And Codes" records and give them another chance. I'm listening to "Worlds Apart" right now, and i love every second of it. See you tomorrow at the locust show in Munich.

jukebox

Dr. Kong's Jukeboy is filled with the following records:

Nullsleep: Electric Heart Strike
Bonnie 'Prince' Billy: Lie Down In The Light
22 Pistepirkko: Eleven
Make-Up: In Mass Mind
Tied And Tickled Trio: Observing Systems
20 Stimmungshits
plekraft:multi-boxer

nanophrasing.lsdelight.afghan wine.

blei

i'm still wide asleep. constant dawn. i'm listening to 'planet caravan' by black sabbath right now, which makes me wanna take drugs instead of doing the dishes. grey clouds and construction sites in munich today.

i've been to the doctor in the ministry of truth (minitruth in newspeak), with watertaps that run rust and secretarys that make you wanna run away. i am ironman. anyone seen that movie? (or should i say car and burger commercial?) anyway, the best part was the ending sequence to the sound of the 'iron man' guitar solo. looking forward to 'the dark knight'.

when i'm not in a gloomy mood because i sleep too little, i laugh my ass off watching 'the flight of the conchords'. so good.

the black kids, anyone? u.s. kids that have listened to too much phoenix but also like emo and chipmusic. not uninteresting. worth an illegal download.

goodbye.

blog ahoi

hey yo dudes, i'm back on the scene at least for today, for the oven isn't properly vorgeheized. that gives me some time for some selbstinszenierung. it's been a long time since i've been to that hospital and had lots of time. now i have to feed the kaninchens, make stupid telephone calls get some surgery. the wheather in munich is very good, but that doesn't help if you feel like some half-burned log of wood because your body makes you wake up at 7am every day no matter what time you went to sleep. sometimes i think i should start taking painkillers again. the sleep was way better.
i spend lotsa money on music, which is the best thing to do with money. i got PIL's metal box for fourty bucks on ebay. other recent purchases: the first two WIRE albums, dodovoodoo by elephant9 (which is some sort of psychedelic jazz, really cool) and the new atlas sound/selector dub narcotic 7". i love listening to music and dreaming of playing with my imaginary band. i create some strange soundscapes for our ambient/field recording project. and i mix those jazz recordings i made. i think i'll stop doing these jobs and concentrate on my own stuff before i fade away.
looking forward to that glass of white wine from sardegna to accompany the fish i'm preparing. too bad i forgot all my cool records in pasing, for i could really go for some bonnie prince billy evangeliums.
by the way: that make up-dvd is just so great. you should watch it at least once a week. remember to buy that first, utterly strange weird war record. and all those make up-releases you still don't have. it's never too late for baptism. (talking to myself here, but if you don't know about the gospel-yeh-yeh, you NEED to check out the make up. start with their swan-song: save yourself)

stream of consciousness, baby. goodbye.
